Lost Addict?

Since last year, when I borrowed my brother's DVD of the first season of Lost, I've been hopelessly hooked. I'm not sure if it's the metaphysical storyline, heavy pycho-analysis of complex characters, or the sci-fi adventure that really pulls me in. But at any rate I just wanted to say that there's a great post explaining tonight's episode as well as an entire breakdown of the show's most popular theories. What do you guys think?

I think that I do not watch Lost. I missed the first few seasons, and now I have absolutely no idea why that bald dude that was in the wheel chair can walk now. Or how they got all of that stuff on to the island.

Lost? WTF*?
(*F standing for freak, of course)

Is this that Gilligan's Island remake that has the hobbit in it?

Yes, exactly. Nice pic btw. Who took that?

I'm obsessed! That episode last night was AMAZING! Jeez! Everytime you think you've got Juliet (or anyone/anything) figured out-the plot twist again. I will forever be intrigued...:)What was the thing that Ben gave Juliet at the end of the episode. He placed it on the table---a gas mask maybe??? Dunno...Lost Rocks! Can I get an "amen!"?

Wow. Bre I had no idea how religious you were. Anyway, it was a gas mask that he placed on the table, to set up the gassing of the Losties. I would agree with your assessment though, last night might have been my favorite episode thus far....

I totally called it. I knew that Juliette wasn't as innocent as they were trying to make her out to be. Her character intrigues me extremely in that you really want her to be an adopted member of the "losties", but unfortunately I think her desire to get off the island overrules anything or anyone for that matter. Every man to his own is becoming the island's theme. Even Jack has shown that type of behavior.(In season 1, Jack was the one who told them that they needed to work together to get through this...) As far as Jack goes, he is going to quickly be demoted as the "losties" leader when they find out that Juliette is still "one of them." This will undermine Jack's character and he soon will find himself the lone man, not a part of either group. It is going to get very interesting.

Mar, I think you're onto something, about every man for himself. But, I'm not about to rule out the fact that Jack is just biding his time and waiting to see what Juliet does. I know it appears that Jack is going along with Juliette, but I think he learned something from the Others: nothing is what it appears to be. Wait and see.....
